The Arianna Quartet has been Faculty-Artists at the University of Missouri,
St. Louis since 2000, teaching weekly lessons, chamber music coachings,
and studio classes to all violinists, violists, and cellists at the University.
Once a week, all string students participate in a String Musicianship
Class, run by all four members of the quartet. This unique class offers
opportunities for string orchestra sectionals, solo and chamber music
performances, and discussions of all aspects of string playing, from technique
and practice tips to how to be an effective teacher. Throughout their
time at U.M. St. Louis, string students have many chances to perform in
the stunning Touhill Performing Arts Center, the jewel of the campus.
This fifty-two million dollar center, openned in 2003, contains two of
the finest performance halls in the midwest, and all student orchestra,
chamber music, and recital performances are held there.

If you are a young string player who is thinking about majoring in music performance or education, or simply wish to continue lessons and participate in orchestra in college, consider studying with the Arianna Quartet at the University of Missouri, St. Louis - with dedicated teachers, personalized attention, and extraordinary facilities at a major university, you can't go wrong!
